Perth
trains
If you travel by train, you will arrive at East Perth Station, where the standard
gauge line ends. From there, it is three stations on the narrow gauge suburban
railway system to Perth Station, in the heart of the city. East Perth Station
is used as the terminus for almost all long-distance Transwa services in Western
Australia, most of them operated by bus. However, note that the Australian
service to Bunbury starts from Perth Station, since it is run by narrow gauge
train.
Perth
bus
If you arrive by bus, you will probably be
travelling with Greyhound and your bus will terminate at the Central Bus
Station in Wellington Street. This is right in the centre of the city,
adjacent to, and connected to, Perth Station. Suburban bus services,
operated by Transperth, start from here, but not all services use this bus
station. There is also the Busport near the river where some services start
and finish. Since travel within the city centre is free, you can take a bus
to the Busport if necessary. Alternatively if you want to reach Perth in a much comfortable manner, you can check
the internet for credible car hire and rental companies. The world wide web
is filled with dozens of websites like www.perfectcarhire.com that provides a
quick quote and an easy booking service.
Perth airport
If you arrive by air, you will find that the domestic and international terminals
are on opposite sides of the airport. Perth airport is 15km northeast of the city.Transfers are available to Perth.
